Comments: Dear Laurie, I was looking for ideas to help me plan for a Mother/Daughter banquet and was led to your page. God knew I needed to see your page and share your life. God works in such wonderful ways, I was feeling so down That I went to Sun. School today but didn't even stay for church. So much is going or not going on in our church and we so desperately need revival, but anyway my precious granddaughter who is 5 came downstairs all dressed for SS at 10 of and how could I turn down a precious little child who wanted to go to church. So we went and as usual I was the only teacher for both the preschool and 5s & 6s so I was needed and even though it was chaotic with all we had a blessed time. Anyway a month ago my nephew was born with CAH which is a congenital problem with his adrenal glands , and I get so down thinking of all the meds he has to take the rest of his life etc. but then I saw your Kaleb and the struggles you go though with him and I felt so quilty because God led all the doctors to the right diagnosis for our Calvin and he will progress more normal. I have worked with Down's syndrome children and they do exhibit a sweet spirit. To read that you love being a pastors wife and rejoice even with the trials that Kaleb's life will bring is truly a blessing to me today. I will pray for you and your family, please pray for our church, we are looking for a pastor and so desperately need God's hand in this area or I fear our church will end up closing. Will your family and mabe your church please pray for our family. My husband is unsaved and my children are very worldly. I truely desire a " Christian Family. " I work on the bus ministry at our church ( I hope you have one since I'm a former bus kid)and of course the bus kids come from similar homes like ours with one exception; my kids have me their mother to go with them (or should I say make them go.)and I pray for them daily. I would like to send you a poem I wrote on bus children if you are interested. I got saved and baptized in Va. Beach, Va. at Tabernacle Baptist Church. The Pastor was and still is Rodney L. Bell. After a while my mother stopped going to church and Tabernacle sent the bus out to pick up me and my brothers. I went to Tabernacle from 68-74 and most of those years were on their bus. I am deeply sadden to say they no longer have a bus ministry. I truely am thankful they had one when I was going there 'cause I believe the the only reason I am going to a good, independent, fundamental, KJV Bible-believing church today and living for the LORD is because of everything I learned in Tabernacle Baptist Church. And I got to church by the bus. At 13 we moved from Va to Mi and I ended up not following God. When I finally chose to get right with God I knew exactly what kind of church to look for. If I dropped out of church when my mother did then I may have never looked to God again or if I did it may not be the right church.(My mother won't go to church she says she watches them on TV maybe when she dies she can get Rod Parsley or Benny Henn to do her funeral). Sorry I shouldn't have said that but hey thanks for being here.

One year we had a Mother-Of The Year contest, with the daughters writing essays on why they believed their mother should hold that title. Please pray for for me as I seek to serve and minister here. We have 5 children ages 12, 8, 5, 3, 10mths. We homeschool the two older children. Our 10mth. was born with a condition that has required and will require extended hospital stays and surgery. He has had a trach since 3 weeks old.
