This banquet is alot of fun and really beautiful!
DECORATIONS: Put greenery in the middle of the table and place a borrowed instument
in the greenery. Violins, trumpets, and clarinets work very well.
Sprinkle confetti in the shape of musical notes (found at dollar stores,
party stores, etc.) on the tables. Copy hymns onto parchment paper
and burn the edges for a beautiful effect. Arrange a couple of these on the tables
also.
SPECIAL TOUCH: Hire a harpist, violinist or some other musician to
play while you are having dinner. I contacted a local music
shop that was able to help me locate someone. She played both
classical music and hymns. You could also try your local symphony,
or university for help locating someone.
THEME VERSE: Romans 6:13
SUGGESTED MENU: Turkey, mashed potatoes, greenbeans, applesauce, cake
DOOR PRIZES: Tapes and CD's of good Christian music.
